Our thobes are crafted from a carefully selected fabric blend consisting of 95% cotton and 5% polyester. This specific combination was chosen after thoughtful consideration of both comfort and functionality. The high cotton content ensures that the thobe remains soft, breathable, and gentle on the skin, making it ideal for everyday wear, especially in warm climates. Cotton naturally allows for air circulation, which helps regulate body temperature and prevents overheating, making it a preferred material for traditional garments. The small addition of polyester, just 5%, enhances the durability of the fabric without compromising the comfort and natural feel of cotton. Polyester helps the thobe retain its shape after multiple washes, reduces wrinkling, and adds a touch of resilience that pure cotton garments sometimes lack. This blend strikes a balance between traditional comfort and modern practicality.

Our thobes are designed specifically to minimize shrinkage, thanks to the high-quality fabric blend we use—95% cotton and 5% polyester. While cotton on its own is known to be prone to shrinking when exposed to heat or improper washing, the inclusion of polyester significantly reduces this tendency. Polyester fibers are more stable and less reactive to moisture and temperature changes, which helps preserve the overall shape and size of the garment over time. This blend allows our thobes to maintain their fit, even after multiple washes, as long as they are cared for properly.

That said, like any cotton-rich fabric, a minimal degree of initial shrinkage is normal—typically within industry-accepted standards and accounted for in the design and tailoring process. To ensure the best results and to preserve the garment’s original shape and drape, we always recommend following the care instructions provided. Washing the thobe in cold or lukewarm water, using a gentle cycle, and air drying or using low heat in a dryer will go a long way in preventing shrinkage. In short, while no cotton-based fabric is completely immune to shrinking, our specific blend and garment construction are intentionally designed to resist it, offering you a long-lasting and reliably fitting thobe.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, the customer will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
